Never fear, Bath's own Town Crier (Jimmy Edwards) will be out and about, bell in hand, to be sure that one and all know what's happening!

                               Bath Fest runs from 11 am until 4 pm          

Some of the Fun.... 

  • Visit the tents and activity areas on the point to learn about 17th century life
  • Pirate Costume Contest (1:50 at Carrow House)
  • Pirates, bands of minstrels, and roaving costumed gents and ladies
  • Children's art and activities (make and take)
  • Bath Elementary StudentArt Display on Bonner House Fence
  • Performances on the Carrow House Porch (see below for schedule)

11:00     Pam Carson, vocalist
                        Listen to Bath's own as she serenades with lovely voice!

11:30    Ben Cherry, aka Blackbeard
                         Mayhap he will share stories of the Golden Days...

11:55    Historical Interpretations Interactive Dance 
                        If you're not careful, they'll pull you in and teach you a 
                        thing or two about dancing through history!

12:10       Pamela Cox, vocalist
                        Another of Bath's beautiful voices shall share her talent!

12:40    Captain Scurvy's Carnival  of Senseless Debauchery 
                    We shall make him walk the plank if we don't chuckle ...
                    Have no fear, Captain Scurvy will make young and old wish to 
                    be a pirate!

1:00        Children's Art Awards Ceremony 
                        Ceremony will be held at the corner of Front and Main Streets

1:15        ECU Storybook Theater
                    Join students from ECU as they share interactive storytelling -- 
                    children will want to see and hear and play along!

1:50        Ben Cherry, aka Blackbeard
                        More tales from the king of Pirates... plus a children's pirate 
                        costume contest.  All costume contestants will claim booty!

2:15        Historical Interpretations Interactive Dance 
                        If you missed their earlier performance, there's still time to play 
                        and learn a thing or two about dancing!

2:30        Still Water, music and vocals
                            Beaver Dam's youth band - be prepared to hear some great 
                            music from some talented teens!

3:00        Beaufort County Traditional Music Association
                        Sit back, relax in the breeze and listen to some good, old-
                        fashioned, traditional music from some of Beaufort County's 
                        most talented musicians!

3:30    Captain Scurvy's Carnival  of Senseless Debauchery 
                    Capt. Scurvy survived his first performance and will end 
                    BathFest in style with another round of tales, laughs, and 
                    general good humor!

4:00        BathFest closes to the public.
